CRYPTO ET BLOCKCHAIN AMÉRICAINE

The Paris leg of the European roadshow organised by an American crypto and blockchain company was entrusted to Preference Events. The objective? Design and set up a “pop-up Hacker House” designed to accommodate more than 1,000 people over several days.

Our team designed and created a wonderful living space on the top 2 floors of a former Parisian parking lot, offering a panoramic view of the whole of Paris. The first level, dedicated to programming, featured contributions from many of the world’s high-tech personalities, as well as an NFT showroom and a radio/podcast station. On the upper floor, a restaurant, a bar and a games area provided a place for people to relax while gazing at the Eiffel Tower.

A total of 1,250 participants took part in this unique 5-day event on the rooftops of Paris. The immersive staging was a major factor in its success: a dark entrance with bluish LED lines to lead the way, a freight elevator to ascend to the upper floors, a disused parking lot… and then the discovery of a high-tech, out-of-this-world venue!
Hacker House boasts a reduced carbon footprint thanks to the solutions implemented to limit its environmental impact: cigarette butt recycling, vegetarian menus, waste management awareness and recycling.
