Tuscany

PREFERENCE EVENTS, an events agency, will share its passion for Italy with you by organising your tailor-made seminar, board meeting, press trip or incentive trip to Tuscany.

The cradle of the Renaissance, thanks to the support and funding of the powerful Medici family based in Florence, and to Florentine artists such as Giotto, Fra Angelico, Michelangelo, Botticelli and Leonardo da Vinci, Tuscany boasts a rich cultural and architectural heritage from its past, in the heart of the cities of Florence, Siena and Pisa, to name but a few…

Tuscany is as much about its cultural heritage (Florence, Siena…) as its natural beauty. Organising your company trip, seminar or board meeting will be an opportunity to discover the rolling countryside, the wine-growing hills of Chianti, a superb region where you can sample many of Italy’s finest wines, and its medieval villages and castles, prestigious relics of the Renaissance.

Tuscany immediately brings to mind Florence, the museum city, a cultural destination par excellence with a wealth of architectural treasures. Then there’s Siena, the city of masterpieces. In the centre, in the Piazza del Campo, the famous Palio is held twice a year (July 2 and August 16), a horse race in which the city’s districts compete against each other. Last but not least, Pisa and its world-famous Leaning Tower will also appeal to the guests on your trip.

As part of the organisation of your corporate event, incentive trip or seminar, you can choose to discover Tuscany on a tour or from Florence, where you will be staying.

Accommodation in Tuscany

In Florence: The historic centre offers only medium-sized, often luxury establishments, reserved for the organisation of events such as board meetings, press trips or prestigious VIP stays (Four Seasons Hotel, Grand Hotel Baglioni, Saint Regis, Westin Excelsior etc.). Larger groups (seminars, incentive trips, conventions, general meetings) will have to move away from the centre.

The hotels in Pisa, Siena and the Tuscan countryside are of a very high standard, with luxury establishments that often focus on well-being and gastronomy, and are reserved for the organisation of exceptional events: board meetings, incentive trips, corporate VIP seminars. (Villa Massa outside Florence, L’Andana, former summer residence of Grand Duke Leopold II…)
A number of small, charming establishments lend themselves perfectly to privatisation for small events (generally fewer than 20 rooms).

In Tuscany, nature imposes its beauty… The organisation of activities as part of your seminar or company trip will naturally revolve around the vineyards and visits to the wonderful towns and villages of this superb region.
