San Sebastian (Donostia in Basque) is undoubtedly one of Spain’s most beautiful and elegant cities. Situated on the French border, 45 minutes from Biarritz, this seaside resort of 400,000 inhabitants borders the Cantabrian Sea.

Bounded by Mount Urgull, the River Urumea and the bay of La Concha, ‘Parte Vieja’, the old town is the heart of San Sebastian. From this labyrinth of narrow streets emerge the Basilica of Santa Maria, the Plaza de la Constitution, the market and the San Telmo Museum, which participants in your incentive trip can discover during a rally.
Today, San Sebastian is a gastronomic destination that will appeal to gourmets: the Old Town has the highest concentration of bars in the world, which you can discover by passing from one to the next while enjoying Pintxos (the Basque version of tapas). But above all, the Basque capital boasts the highest number of Michelin stars per inhabitant and three of the world’s 50 best restaurants, which can welcome VIP guests on your press trip or reward trip for an exceptional dinner (the Akelarre, Arzak and Martín Berasategui restaurants).
San Sebastian has organised Spain’s most important film festival since 1953 (the winning film is awarded the ‘Golden Shell’ each year), and in 2016 was named International Capital of Culture.
